49mm ND & CPL 2 in 1 Lens Filter, ND2-ND32 (1-5 Stop) Variable Neutral Density and Polarizer for Camera Lens Nano-Dazzle Series

People have claimed you can't put the lens cap on this. For the 49mm at least my OEM canon lens cap went on just fine.

It JUST fitted under my glare shield but I can't remove the shield without taking off the filter first.

I can still access all the functional parts though as things like CPL and ND are only really ever changed in a gradual manner on a fixed tripod so I wouldn't ever need to rapidly change it and thus don't need super easy access, but without the shield on this is very easy to quickly adjust.

Worth every penny for what combines about 5 potential different filters into one unit. Very happy as always with K&F

K&F Concept makes some of the best value lens filters. This variable ND is so affordable yet works so well, with the knob for easy adjustments of ND and CPL filters.

The orange knob is very useful as I don't need to look at the markings to see which strength of ND I'm using at the moment.

The lens quality is excellent and I didn't notice much of a color shift or X pattern.

Very good quality and useful for Photographers and videographers. Optical quality is very good.

I love that this saves you money on getting several different ND filters, instead having it as adjustable as you want it. It fits great on my Sigma 24-70mm, but the minus about it is that you can't put the lens cap over this filter, so either it's staying on your lens or you'll need to screw this on and off every time you want to take a photo.

K/F Concept is a brand of photography accessories, which is especially known for its quality/price ratio. I have several things, and I can say from the outset that in general they are very good in terms of the aforementioned star relationship.

We received a small box that is basically the size of the filter box itself. Well, it's actually the plastic filter cover with a silver cardboard cover on the outside. It arrives sealed in transparent plastic, which guarantees no prior manipulation. The box also mentions that it is "slim" (to avoid vignetting and that we "see" the filter in our photos), that it has a multi-layer filter and that it is water resistant.

It has metallic orange levers on opposite sides. It fits very fine and is very comfortable.

A vacuum-packed microfiber cloth is included. Which is suitable for all types of lenses apart from the filter, also for glasses, lenses, etc...

My version of the filter is with a 72mm thread pitch, to be used mainly on my 135mm F2L. Incidentally, most Canon L series lenses are compatible with this filter size.

The filter from ND2 to ND32 varies depending on how we turn the screw. What it does is darken the image progressively, without generating banding or noticeable defects (at least in my tests). Normally you will want to darken the image if you want to take longer exposures without burning the photo, such as in a classic silk effect of water coming down from the river. Another use of darkening the image is when you want to shoot with a very large aperture but even if you lower the ISO to the minimum there is still too much light. This second option is the one I had in mind for my lens: portraits at f2.8 with solaco

I sent the filter back because the setting for the CPL filter is extremely difficult to use. I either loosen the filter when turning it or pull it so hard that I can hardly get the filter off the lens.
